As spring takes hold, baroque birds can be heard singing in both Handel’s delicious concerto, and Respighi’s 18th-century inspired suite. The series ends with a rarely-encountered wind concerto by Bach, a glittering symphony by Haydn, and a beloved orchestral interlude from one of Handel’s forty-two operas.
